Welcome to the Department of Political Science and History, the only one in Greece that combines Modern and Contemporary History with Political Science.
Our Department seeks to introduce you to critical thinking and scientific methodology and to provide you with knowledge that will open up your professional outlets and will allow you to become conscientious and responsible citizens.
Your stay at university will be an overall experience that will shape you for the rest of your life. So take advantage of it at all times, attend classes and lectures on a regular basis, study in the university library, learn about our research centers and laboratories, work with your teachers. Discover the opportunities you have for gaining extra experience and skills, such as to spend one semester of your studies abroad through the Erasmus program.
