Cultural History of Postwar Greece

The course “Cultural History of Postwar Greece” will try to introduce the main traditions of cultural history and theoretical questions that have preoccupied cultural historians, such as consumption, technological change, behavior and experience. It will pay particular attention to explore how the everyday life experience and big social problems shaped people’s perceptions and therefore political change during the postwar era (1949-1989).
